Paktel Cup: Pakistan v Sri Lanka

Shoaib Malik continued his merry run with both bat and ball, as Pakistan comfortably beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the third match of the Paktel Cup, and registered a place in the finals.

Malik wasn't the only hero for the day for Pakistan though, with Yousuf Youhana scoring his 10th ODI century, to put up an unbeaten stand of 200 runs with Malik, after his side was reduced to 33 for 2 chasing Sri Lanka's 232 for 9. Earlier, Sri Lankan batting fell apart after a good 109-run stand between Sanath Jayasuriya and Marvan Atapattu, doctored by Malik, who picked up three wickets, as well as affected the crucial run out of Jayasuriya.

Malik was deservingly named the Man of the Match, for his exploits with both the bat and the ball.
