Pakistan to host tri-series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that they will host Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in a triangular one-day series in October.

Before the confirmation of this series, the ICC schedule slated that Zimbabwe were to play two Tests in the sub-continental country. However, with the voluntarily suspension of Zimbabwe's Test status, PCB approached the Asia Cup champions Sri Lanka with a proposition to take part in a tri-series.

Here's the schedule for the series:

30 September - Pakistan v Zimbabwe (Multan)
3 October - Pakistan v Zimbabwe (Peshawar)
6 October - Pakistan v Sri Lanka (Karachi)
9 October - Sri Lanka v Zimbabwe (Rawalpindi)
11 October - Sri Lanka v Zimbabwe (Rawalpindi)
14 October - Pakistan v Sri Lanka (D/N, Lahore)
16 October - Final (D/N, Lahore)
