Torrential rain ruins encounter
Heavy rainfall appears to have had the final say at Lord’s, as Middlesex declared still 94 runs behind in an attempt to make a game of things.
Owais Shah impressed with a stylish hundred, and David Nash played the supporting role, but it was with a painfully slow 55, in tricky batting conditions.
James Franklin and Jon Lewis enjoyed the bowling conditions, sharing six wickets.

The Oval: Surrey v Worcestershire
Ormond destroys Worcestershire top order
Jimmy Ormond gave Surrey a fighting chance for victory after taking a quick three wickets at the end of day three.
Earlier in the day, Surrey's declaration was set up by yet another Ramprakash century, who can do no wrong in the championship this year.
His innings contained nine fours and two sixes, as he treated opening bowler Kabir Ali with distain.
It ends a clinical day for Surrey, who look likely to blow away the Worcestershire middle order tomorrow.
