Best is latest of Windies woes
Monday, August 2 2004Energetic Bajan pacer, Tino Best (22) will return home from the West Indies tour of England. Best, having bowled just 4 overs in the second innings of the first NPower Test, has been diagnosed with a back injury and will return home for treatment.
Tino Best is the second West Indian player to sustain a tour-ending injury, joining Ravi Rampaul, who flew home a week ago and was replaced by Corey Collymore. On this occasion the replacement has been named as Trinidad and Tobago's Dave Mohammed, a left-arm chinaman bowler who has played just 1 Test so far for the West Indies.
