Batty Recalled to Test Squad

Off-spinner Gareth Batty has been recalled to the England Test Squad for the third npower Test match against the West Indies at Old Trafford.

Batty's most recent Test match was against the fourth away fixture same opponents, with the Worcestershire tweaker suffering the insult of being to bowler dispatched by Brian Lara to reach his 400.

He joins James Anderson and Simon Jones in a battle for the final bowling place in the XI.

Mark Butcher was again overlooked due to injury, with Robert Key offered another chance to sure up a place in the squad.
