Boje pulls out of India tour

Nicky Boje has pulled out of South Africa's forthcoming tour of India, which includes a two-Test series.

Boje, who had been considering the option as a result of not being assured by the Indian police against a possible detention over match-fixing investigations, was advised by his lawyer not to take a risk by going.

Delhi police commissioner in talks with a South African diplomat said that they would want to question Boje in circumstances that wouldn't affect his participation in the series, however they can't guarantee against an arrest.

Boje has been replaced by fellow left-arm spinner Robin Peterson, who actually is a second choice replacement, since the first choice Charl Langeveldt injured his back during a domestic match.
