Sri Lankans Abandon NZ Tour

The Sri Lankan cricket team has annouched that they will abandon their tour of New Zealand to return home to help victims of the tsunami that has devastated their country.

New Zealand Cricket Chief Executive Martin Snedden has said the the NZC Board has accepted their decision and that every assistance possible shall be given so the Sri Lankans can return home as soon as possible.

The two cricket boards will work to reschedule the tour at an appropriate time in the future.
