Collymore may miss VB series

"Another one bites the dust". As the saying goes, yet another West Indian seamer has fallen to the injury bug. Following Tino Best, Fidel Edwards, Ravi Rampaul and Jermaine Lawson, who have all sustained injury within the last 6 months, Corey Collymore is afflicted with a side strain.

Whilst the 26-year-old should be physically fit in time for the VB Series, bowling off on January 14th, there are questions as to his level of match fitness by that time.

Collymore is a veteran of 56 One Day Internationals, in which he has taken 59 wickets and kept a tidy economy of 4.35.
