Clarke - Aussie Player of the Year

Michael Clarke has been named Australia's Player of the Year at the Allan Border Medal in Melbourne following a fantastic start to international cricket over the past year.

Clarke picked up 54 votes while his nearest rivals Damien Martyn and Adam Gilchrist picked up 51 votes and 41 votes respectively.
