Malinga recalled to pyjama cricket

"Slingy" pace bowler, Lasith Malinga has been recalled to the Sri Lankan limited overs side as cover for Nuwan Zoysa during the upcoming One Day International series against New Zealand. Zoysa dislocated his finger during a practice session earlier this week.

Malinga is in the Sri Lankan Test squad, but was omitted from the ODI squad initially. In his 4 ODIs to date, the 21-year-old has taken 4 wickets at 39.75 apiece.

He last represented Sri Lanka in limited overs cricket back in August against South Africa. His 5 overs then were taken for 40 runs without a wicket.
