Windies hires Australia 'A' physio

The chronically injury-plagued West Indies cricket team has elected to turn the Australian way as far as fitness is concerned. In the wake of the hiring of an Australian-born coach, Bennett King, the WICB have employed the service of Stephen Partridge for 3 years.

Patridge, leaving employ as physio for Australia 'A' and the Queensland Bulls, will begin working with the West Indies players at the pre-tour training camp from the 29th of Novemeber.

He replaces Andrew Simpson.
