Strauss taken to hospital

Andrew Strauss has been taken hospital for a precautionary x-ray after sustaining a severe knock to the helmet from a Brett Lee bouncer.

The furious delivery from the Australian speedster hit the England vice-captain on the back of the head leaving him slightly dazed.

He played on though and after his dismissal, LBW to Stuart Clark for 24, he was taken to hospital for a check-up.
